What is Mental Health First Aid®?
Since its inception in 2000, Mental Health First Aid® has evolved into a global movement that has trained four million people and operates in over 25 countries.
It is an accreditation programme for you to learn how to assist adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.
Our upcoming 90-minute instructor-led session on the Foundations of Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace will be a preview of the Mental Health First Aid® & Workplace Wellness 20-hour accreditation programme provided by PERSOLKELLY Consulting. Our Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor will discuss the following:
· The current state of mental health in Hong Kong
· Red flags for common mental health conditions in the workplace (not for diagnosis, but for understanding purposes)
· The mental health first aid tool in the workplace
